Baku: The official opening ceremony of the 9th "Baku Heart Days" International Congress, dedicated to the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, has commenced. The event is organized by the Azerbaijan Society for Cardiovascular Surgery and aims to foster the development of cardiology and cardiovascular surgery in the country.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the congress provides a platform for exchanging views with foreign experts and discussing the latest advancements in medical science in this field. The event will run from May 16 to 18, offering participants an opportunity to engage in comprehensive discussions and explore innovative solutions in cardiovascular medicine.

Notably, the Azerbaijan Society for Cardiovascular Surgery has been hosting the 'Baku Heart Days' International Congress biennially since 2009, reflecting its ongoing commitment to advancing medical science and improving healthcare outcomes in Azerbaijan.
