Baku: A unified system for issuing passports to cultural assets will be introduced in Azerbaijan. This measure is reflected in a proposed amendment to the Law on the Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments, discussed at today's session of the Milli Majlis, the Azerbaijani Parliament.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the draft amendment states that the rules for registering immovable monuments and the standard format of the passport will be determined by the relevant authority designated by the executive power. The introduction of this system aims to streamline the process and ensure consistent documentation of cultural assets across the country.
