Azerbaijan to Develop Corruption Risk Management Rules

Baku: Rules for managing corruption risks in the activities of state and local self-government bodies in Azerbaijan will be developed, APA reports. This initiative is outlined in the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated March 7, 2025, No. 150-VIIQD, concerning the implementation of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan 'On Amendments to the Law on Combating Corruption.'

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the decree mandates that within four months, the Cabinet of Ministers must establish the rules for managing corruption risks. These rules will apply to state and local self-government bodies, legal entities owned or controlled by the state or municipalities, public legal entities, and budgetary organizations. The information must then be submitted to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
