Azerbaijan to Experience Seven-Day Non-Working Streak in New Year.

Baku: Azerbaijan will observe seven consecutive non-working days in the upcoming New Year. The Cabinet of Ministers has taken a decision to realign working and rest days, as reported by APA. This adjustment aims to provide a consistent schedule for working and rest days during the holiday period. According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the changes involve shifting the working days of December 30, 2024, and January 3, 2025, with the rest days of December 28 and 29, 2024. Consequently, December 30 and 31, 2024, along with January 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, 2025, will be observed as non-working days. This decision ensures that the first week of the new year will be a continuous holiday period. The schedule change takes into account that December 4 and 5 fall on a Saturday and Sunday, allowing for an extended break for citizens. The decision reflects the government's effort to provide a balanced and consistent approach to holidays and work schedules.
