Azerbaijani and Egyptian Foreign Ministers Engage in Phone Dialogue on Regional Cooperation.

Baku: Jeyhun Bayramov, Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, engaged in a telephone conversation with Badr Abdelatty, Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptians Expatriate's Affairs, to discuss a range of regional issues. According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the conversation underscored the importance of cultivating friendly ties based on mutual trust and enhancing both bilateral and multilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Egypt. Both ministers emphasized the need to bolster coordination within international organizations and multilateral formats, seeking to increase collaborative efforts in areas of mutual interest. The dialogue also touched on discussions from the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. The ministers noted the significance of this global event in addressing climate change and explored its potential to foster Azerbaijani-Egyptian cooperation in green energy. Additionally, the conversation include d an exchange of views on other regional issues of shared concern.
