Baku: Radoslaw Sikorski, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, made a phone call to his Azerbaijani counterpart, Jeyhun Bayramov. The Polish Minister offered his condolences regarding the tragic crash of the “Azerbaijan Airlines” passenger plane and expressed Poland’s readiness to provide technical support towards the investigation of the incident’s causes. Minister Jeyhun Bayramov expressed his gratitude for the condolences and the solidarity shown.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the ministers engaged in a comprehensive exchange of views on priority issues during Poland’s six-month presidency of the Council of the European Union (EU), Azerbaijan-EU relations, and the prospects of the Eastern Partnership. They noted the significant potential for developing relations between Azerbaijan and Poland in various spheres, including political, economic, alternative energy, and humanitarian areas. They emphasized the importance of reciprocal visits and the intensification of political dialogue to further develop relations between the two countries.



The conversation also touched upon regional and international security concerns, highlighting the importance of collaboration and mutual understanding in addressing these issues.
