Baku: The Azerbaijani government will cover tuition fees for students residing in liberated territories who enroll in public, municipal, and private vocational education institutions during the 2025/2026, 2026/2027, and 2027/2028 academic years, as well as for those who are receiving paid education in these educational institutions.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this initiative is part of the amendments to the Law "On Education" approved by President Ilham Aliyev. The amendments aim to provide educational support to students in liberated areas, ensuring their access to vocational training without the burden of tuition fees.
Additionally, the "Vocational Education Law" has been amended to align with this initiative. The new provisions are scheduled to come into effect on September 15, 2025, marking a significant step towards enhancing educational opportunities in the region.
