Baku: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has issued an Order granting high military ranks to service members of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan. According to the Order, the promotions include various high-ranking positions within the military hierarchy. According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the new appointments are as follows: Lieutenant General Hikmat Mirzayev Izzat has been promoted to the rank of "Colonel General." Additionally, the rank of "Major General" has been bestowed upon Colonel Alakbar Janghirov Mahammad, Colonel Gunduz Abdulov Alish, and Colonel Azar Gasimov Alovsat. Moreover, Colonel of Justice Elchin Aliyev Nariman has been granted the rank of "Major General of Justice." These promotions reflect the Azerbaijani government's recognition of the service and contributions of its military personnel.
