Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has extended his congratulations to the President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Mohammad Shahabuddin, marking the occasion of Bangladesh's Independence Day.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev expressed his heartfelt congratulations on behalf of himself and the people of Azerbaijan. In his message, he emphasized the significance of Azerbaijan-Bangladesh relations and the opportunities that the friendship between the two countries has fostered. He highlighted the potential for expanding cooperation and strengthening interstate relations for the mutual benefit of both nations.

In his letter, President Aliyev also conveyed his best wishes for the upcoming holy Ramadan holiday to President Shahabuddin and the people of Bangladesh, reinforcing the spirit of camaraderie and goodwill between the two countries.
