Baku: The increase in the export of Azerbaijani gas to Trkiye and European markets and the cooperation in this regard were discussed, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov said during a joint press conference with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Jeyhun Bayramov stated that the current reach of Azerbaijani gas spans 12 countries. He expressed hope that in the coming years, both the volume of exported Azerbaijani gas and the number of countries receiving it will expand.

The ministers additionally discussed the delivery of green energy to Europe. Bayramov highlighted the cooperation potential between Azerbaijan and Trkiye regarding the delivery of green energy produced in the Caspian region and Central Asia to the European market. He noted that this topic was also a point of discussion with his Turkish counterpart.
