BAKU: The European TeamGym Championship is being held for the first time on October 16-19 in Baku, again spotlighting gymnastics amateurs, Trend reports. This is a team competition that includes performances on three gymnastic apparatuses. Participants will compete on the TeamGym mat, the acrobatic track, and the trampoline (mini-tramp). The best teams from across the European continent will compete for the championship title at the National Gymnastics Arena. Spectators will experience unimaginable emotions as they witness performances in this new and developing discipline of gymnastics for the first time. TeamGym has been developing in Azerbaijan since 2018. Today, our country has both professional athletes and coaches in this discipline, as well as representatives of the judging panel. In addition to individual skills and competencies, successful teamwork is also crucial for victory in TeamGym. The National Gymnastics Arena will feature performances of Azerbaijani, Czech, Danish, Austrian, Estonian, Finn ish, UK, Icelandic, Italian, Luxembourg, Dutch, Portuguese, Norwegian, and Swedish athletes.
