Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission (CEC) has launched training sessions for information technology (IT) specialists from district election commissions in preparation for the upcoming snap parliamentary elections scheduled for September 1. The training sessions, running until August 23, aim to ensure the prompt and accurate publication of election-related information, thereby enhancing transparency and openness on election day. During the sessions, IT specialists will receive detailed briefings on the operations and updated capabilities of the State Automated Information System (SAIS). Practical workshops will be conducted, allowing the specialists to work in a test environment using a specialized program designed for the direct transfer of voter turnout data and protocol voting results to the CEC on election day. These workshops are intended to improve the participants’ practical knowledge, experience, and professional skills. Source: Azerbaijan State News Agency
