Baku: On the occasion of World Book and Copyright Day, Azercell, the leading mobile operator, has announced the launch of a new section on its official website called Voice of Books. This initiative consolidates the company's extensive audiobook collection, making it accessible through a unified platform. The collection features over 100 literary masterpieces, including works by Nizami Ganjavi, ghazals by Imadaddin Nasimi, excerpts from the Koroghlu epic, and creations by Karabakh authors. Additionally, the platform includes a list of favorite books of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, as well as comics and podcasts aimed at appealing to a wide range of listeners.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Voice of Books platform allows users to easily access these audiobooks by directing them to Azercell's official YouTube channel, where the content is available for complimentary streaming. Originally launched in 2017, the Audiobook project highlights Azercell's dedication to preserving the nation's cultural heritage and promoting the availability of Azerbaijani-language digital content. The initiative represents a significant step in enhancing access to literature and culture through digital means.
