Baku: Azercosmos and Trkiye's leading satellite telecommunications company Turksat have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening cooperation in the satellite telecommunications sector, APA reports. The agreement was signed during the Space Technologies Conference (STC) hosted by Azercosmos and focuses on mutual exchange of knowledge, skills, and expertise, as well as the development of beneficial bilateral cooperation.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, under the memorandum, the parties intend to expand strategic, economic, scientific, technical, and technological collaboration in the field of information and communication technologies. The document also outlines plans for bilateral consultations on issues such as regulation of satellite services under regional and international laws, efficient management of radio frequencies, geographic information system services, space technologies, and project management in the space sector.
This partnership aims to further strengthen space technology cooperation between Azerbaijan and Trkiye.
