Baku: Well-known businessman and president of Azersun Holding Abdolbari Gozal has passed away, Holding released information, APA reports. A famous businessman died today from illness.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, "We would like to announce with deep sadness that Abdolbari Gozal, a philanthropist businessman and founder of Azersun Holding, who was awarded the Order of Glory, the Medal of Progress, and dozens of local and global awards by the President of the Republic for his significant contributions to the development of the Azerbaijani economy, has passed away. May God have mercy on him," says the information.

It should be noted that Abdolbari Gozal has been operating in Azerbaijan and Georgia since 1992. He headed Azersun Holding, which has a significant share in the food industry of Azerbaijan.

Abdolbari Gozal was awarded the Order of Glory and the Medal of Progress by the President of Azerbaijan.
