Baku: In accordance with the plan of bilateral cooperation between the Ministries of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2025, a Kazakh delegation led by Deputy Chief of the General Staff - Head of the National Defense Management Center, Major General Fazilolla Badenov, visited Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Defense told APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the delegation first arrived at the Alley of Shehids to honor the heroic sons who sacrificed their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of their homeland. The delegation laid flowers and paid their respects at the graves.

During their visit, the Kazakh delegation toured the Azerbaijan Defense Ministry's Battle Control Center and command posts of the Air Force and Naval Forces. They received briefings on the daily activities and crisis management operations of the troops. The Azerbaijani officials addressed the Kazakh delegation's inquiries during these sessions.

The meetings emphasized the significance of such exchanges in enhancing military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
