Banks and exchange offices set single dollar selling rate

Commercial banks and exchange offices in the capital have set a single selling rate for the U.S. dollar today.

American currency is bought today for 89.1-89.5 soms, and sold — for 89.72 soms. The official rate of the National Bank is 89.32 soms.

The euro exchange rate grew slightly over the weekend. Now it is bought for 93.9-94.5 soms, sold — for 95-95.3 soms. The nominal exchange rate is 94.5542 soms.

Russian ruble also appreciated and almost became equal to the som. It is bought for 0.91-0.925 soms, sold — for 0.945-0.95 soms. The official exchange rate of the National Bank is 0.9239 soms.

The buying rate of the Kazakh tenge is 0.129-0.13 soms, the selling rate is 0.19-0.2 soms. The nominal exchange rate is 0.1864 soms.
