At the next meeting of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan adopted the laws “On environmental audit” and “On rationalization activities.”
According to the state information agency TDH , environmental auditing is an independent assessment of the compliance of enterprises and organizations with the requirements of the legislation of Turkmenistan, environmental standards and environmental safety, as well as the requirements of international environmental standards.
It was noted that since many new objects are being built in the country, an audit is important when analyzing and evaluating environmental aspects at the stage of preparing their projects.
In turn, the law On sales activities is aimed at creating legal and economic conditions for the activities of authors of inventions, stimulating scientific and technical creativity.
A Resolution was also adopted on the ratification of the Agreement between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan on the elimination of double taxation with respect to taxes on income and property.
