Belarus and Turkmenistan to prepare a plan for resolving the Garlyksky GOK dispute before the end of the year

On October 11, Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Igor Lyashenko , who arrived in Ashgabat for talks on the Garlyk mining and processing plant, said that a roadmap to resolve the dispute over the plant would be prepared before the end of this year. This was reported by the Belarusian news agency Belta .

The parties came to such a decision after a meeting of the heads of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko .

In addition, Lyashenko reported on work to increase trade between countries. According to the Belarusian official, certain issues, primarily from the Turkmen side, hinder the increase in trade.
