From November 1, flights will be operated once every two weeks on Tuesdays.
In addition, regular Turkish Airlines flights between Istanbul and Turkmenbashi will resume from November 2, which will fly twice a week on Wednesdays and Thursdays , the Turkmenportal website reports .
It is reported that the cost of a ticket from Istanbul to Turkmenbashi is $397, in the opposite direction – $497.
On October 17, regular flights between Moscow and Turkmenbashi were resumed by the Russian airline S7.
It was also previously reported that from October 30, flydubai flights will start flying to Turkmenistan .
Meanwhile, according to Vestnik Kavkaza, the Georgian Parliament ratified the agreement dated July 20 this year between the governments of Georgia and Turkmenistan “On Air Communication”, which will allow launching direct flights between the countries.
Turkmenistan completely suspended international flights in March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
