Berdimuhamedov again instructed to speed up the construction of the capital of Akhal and reprimanded the Deputy Prime Minister for Construction

At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on October 8, Deputy Prime Minister Charymyrat Purchekov , who oversees the construction, industrial and energy complex, reported on the state of affairs in his industry, the state information agency TDH reports .

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed him to analyze the state of ongoing construction work and monitor the construction of buildings and "accelerate the construction of residential buildings, settlements, especially the administrative center of the Akhal velayat ." Note that this instruction is given regularly .

Then the head of state issued a severe reprimand to Purchekov for improper performance of official duties, allowing a decrease in performance in the work of the ministries and sectoral departments under his supervision.

At the same meeting, it was instructed to accelerate the construction of the TAPI gas pipeline and build new processing plants.

A week ago, Berdimuhamedov personally inspected the construction site of the new capital of Akhal.

The president announced his intention to build a new city in October 2018. The first stage of construction was planned to be implemented in 2019-2021, and the second - in 2020-2022.

At that time, the president noted that "this colossal project will require huge investments, but the state has sufficient economic stability to implement the most daring and ambitious plans for the well-being of the people."
