At a cabinet meeting on October 15, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic, Banking and International Financial Organizations Serdar Berdimuhamedov reported on the preparation of the draft State Budget for 2022, the TDH state news agency reported .
The Deputy Prime Minister said that "a sufficient amount of funds will be allocated for the development of the social sphere" and the size of salaries, pensions and benefits will be increased by 10%.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that the State Budget should provide for the adoption of measures to address issues of employment of the population and increase the social level, as well as provide sufficient funds for the construction of various facilities , the production of import-substituting products and the creation of an electronic industry.
The head of state approved the submitted draft and sent it to the Mejlis of the Milli Gengesh for consideration.
Addressing the Deputy Prime Ministers, the President ordered to conduct a detailed analysis of the main items of the State Budget of the country for 2022, as well as to determine the expected forecasts of GDP growth rates in current and comparable prices .
At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on September 10, the president instructed his son to prepare a draft of the country's state budget for next year, in which it is necessary to increase the revenue side and find sources of investment to finance the adopted state programs.
