On January 18, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov went on an inspection to the construction site of the new capital of Akhal velayat. However, as the state information agency TDH writes , before that he stopped at the International Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex, as he heard “the good news about the birth of a foal” and wanted to see him.

In the complex, the head of state spoke with the horse breeders, thanking them for their "great work", and at the request of the chief horse breeder named the foal Zaman (Epoch) in honor of the motto of 2022 "The era of the people with Arkadag."

On the same day, Berdymukhammedov, by his decree , ordered to allocate funds from the Stabilization Fund for “modernization of horse breeding complexes, further improvement of the conditions for keeping horses and selection work, development of equestrian sports and the art of seising, as well as to improve the social and living conditions of horse breeders.”
