At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on October 15, Deputy Prime Minister Charymyrat Purchekov , who oversees the construction, industrial and energy complex, reported on the work on the efficient use of electricity, the state information agency TDH reports .
It is noted that the tasks of the Ministry of Energy include control over the uninterrupted supply of electricity to domestic consumers, sending excess amounts of electricity abroad, as well as paying for it "through a digital system in accordance with world experience."
In March it was reported that Gosenergonadzor had set up a settlement center to monitor timely payments for electricity by consumers.
The Deputy Prime Minister informed that according to the analysis, the demand for electricity will only increase in the coming years. This, in turn, will require the construction of additional energy capacities and its rational energy consumption.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that great attention should be paid to the rational use and saving of electricity consumption by domestic consumers. The Deputy Prime Minister was instructed to step up work in this important direction.
In June, the head of state demanded to ensure energy savings on street lighting and advertising stands ", in August - to establish " clear work "of power lines throughout the year, especially in the summer season.
At the same time, on October 5, Berdymukhamedov demanded that “every corner of the city, in particular, objects of various purposes ”, be equipped with lighting systems . Among such objects, the head of state included buildings and structures that need to be decorated with lighting elements .
