Berdimuhamedov instructed to study the issues of transit gas supplies to the countries of the Middle East

On February 15, the Acting President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting at which he again raised the issue of exporting natural resources, the state information agency TDH reports .

Deputy Prime Minister Shahym Abdrakhmanov , who is in charge of the oil and gas industry, was instructed to study the possibilities of transit supplies of Turkmen natural gas to the countries of the Middle and Near East through the territory of neighboring countries.

Deputy Prime Minister Charymyrat Purchekov Berdimuhamedov, who is in charge of the construction, industrial and energy complex, instructed to hold negotiations with interested parties on the transit of Turkmen electricity.

Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov should study the organizational aspects of these issues and coordinate the work.
