On November 17, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov solemnly opened a textile complex in the Babadaykhan etrap of the Ahal velayat,
The head of state arrived at the site by helicopter. There, the president was greeted with a performance by the ensemble of the Dokmaçylar cultural center of the Ministry of Textile Industry, after which he talked with the head of the collective, People's Artist of Turkmenistan Jemal Saparova .
Then the head of state went to the building, where he addressed the audience. “Our main goal is to bring the country into the ranks of the industrially developed, advanced states of the world , to significantly increase the social and living standards of the people,” the President said.
The $ 151.8 million complex is located on 20 hectares. It includes an administrative building, industrial warehouses, a workshop, a canteen with 450 seats, a sports ground and two hotels with 16 seats.
It is designed to process 5,000 tons of fine staple cotton per year and produce 3,300 tons of yarn per year, 20 million square meters of various types of fabric, including 18 million meters of dyed fabric and 3.5 million ready-made garments .
"The products of the new enterprise, designed for import substitution, will save huge funds and create preconditions for the supply of surplus finished products to other countries," Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted and added that with the commissioning of the complex, 1,150 jobs will be created.
Further, the audience was shown video recordings of the president's congratulations on the opening of the enterprise by Roger Albrecht, head of the business circles of Rieter Management AG (Switzerland) . The company installed equipment for packing yarn in the complex and presented the corresponding certificate to the Turkmen side. Director of Picanol (Belgium), shareholder of Rieter (Switzerland) Luc Tuck recorded a video message and said that they installed 110 looms and also presented a certificate of this.
In the same way, the president was congratulated and presented with certificates by the manager of the international technical control and certification company ALBERK QA Begum Adakan and the engineer of the certification department of the Hohenstein textile research institute in Germany Ursula Seibitin .
After the speeches, the head of state solemnly opened the complex and got to the spinning mill in a "special vehicle". There he examined the work of the shops and talked to the workers.
Judging by the footage of the TV report, the "special transport" is a minibus that was presented to Berdymukhamedov by the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev , during his visit to Ashgabat on October 26 this year. This fact is not mentioned in the TDH material.
Weaving specialist told about the work of the factory. “Talking about herself, another worker shared that she does needlework in her free time,” notes TDH.
Then Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was shown the textile products that the factory will produce.
At the end of the celebration, the President handed over the keys to new buses, cars and trucks to the staff of the enterprise.
On August 25, the president opened a textile complex for 1,300 jobs in the Kaakhki etrap of the Ahal velyat, worth $ 147 million 850 thousand.
