On January 20, a telephone conversation took place between Presidents of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev , the state information agency TDH reports .

Berdimuhamedov thanked Mirziyoyev for the warm welcome of the delegation from Turkmenistan led by Deputy Prime Minister Serdar Berdimuhamedov .

In addition, according to the press service of the head of Uzbekistan, the parties discussed the implementation of joint projects, the expansion of trade and cooperation in the fields of industry, energy, agriculture and water management, as well as transport.
