On February 18, Acting President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held an expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers with the participation of members of the State Security Council at the Rukhyet Palace, the state information agency reports. TDH reports . On this day, the country celebrates the Day of Diplomatic Workers of Turkmenistan.
It hosted the solemn ceremony of awarding Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with the distinctive sign "Türkmenistanyn ussat diplomaty" ("Honored Diplomat of Turkmenistan").
The President established this badge on February 9, 2021. Then it was reported that they would be awarded to employees of the diplomatic service "for personal contribution to the implementation of the peace-loving constructive foreign policy of Turkmenistan, strengthening relations with foreign states in various fields, expanding effective dialogue with authoritative international organizations and other services to the Motherland." Berdimuhamedov was the first to receive it.
After the award, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov announced that he had completed work on another book called “Abadançylygyn röwsen gadamlary” (“Bright Steps to Prosperity”) and is a collection of his speeches to the public . It also included many proposals regarding the further development of Turkmenistan, adds TDH.
The acting president handed over one copy of the book to Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov and noted that everyone else would be able to receive it after the event.
The previous, 55th book , "Independence is our happiness", was presented at the meeting of the Halk maslahaty on September 25 and was timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence (September 27).
