Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi invited President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to visit India as a guest of honor for Republic Day celebrations in New Delhi on January 26, 2022. The letter of invitation was published on December 2 by the state information agency TDH .
“It will also be an honor for us to host a contingent of your Armed Forces to participate in the Republic Day parade,” the message says.
Narendra Modi notes that, taking advantage of the presence of the leaders of the Central Asian countries at the Republic Day celebrations, he is organizing the India-Central Asia High-level Summit "to discuss collective approaches to common challenges in the region." The official hopes that the president will also take part in this event.
