On September 30, Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov dismissed the deputy khyakim of the Akhal velayat, Khojageldi Khojageldiyev , as he "failed to cope with the duties assigned to him."

The ex-khyakim of the Ak Bugday etrap Khojamyrat Ashyrmyradov has been appointed the new deputy head of Akhal .

In turn, Rovshen Khojagulyev was appointed to the place of the khyakim of the Ak Bugday etrap .

The dismissed Khojageldi Khojageldiev worked as deputy khyakim of the Akhal velayat for a little over two years - since June 2019.
