Berdymukhamedov instructed to prepare for the Day of Neutrality and ensure the uninterrupted operation of heating systems

On October 18, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with some deputy prime ministers, khyakims of the velayats and Ashgabat, the TDH state news agency reported .

The khyakim reported that in order to strengthen the material and technical base of city utilities, maintain cleanliness and carry out improvement works in Ashgabat, special equipment is being purchased, a new batch of which has recently entered the country ( in December 2020, it was reported that the Ashgabat khyakimlik will purchase cars for cleaning streets, spare parts, garbage cans and containers from the Swiss company ITS Investment & Trading Services AG, - ed. ). The official also said that work on the construction sites of the Karagum hotel, Erkin square and the Makhtumkuli Fraghi monument have entered the final stage.

The head of state ordered them to successfully complete the cotton harvesting campaign, monitor the construction of facilities, ensure uninterrupted heat supply to the population throughout the heating season and organize high-level celebrations on the occasion of the Day of Neutrality.

Deputy Prime Minister Esenmyrat Orazgeldiev, who is in charge of the agro-industrial complex, also reported on picking cotton and growing vegetables . It was reported that "work is underway to meet the demand of the population for a variety of agricultural products." In particular, rice is grown in the Dashoguz and Lebap velayats and sugar beet in the Balkan and Mary velayats.

However, the head of state still once again instructed "to take measures to obtain rich harvests of vegetables, increase the production of various agricultural products and uninterrupted provision of the population with fresh vitamin products."
