On October 8, concluding a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov announced that he had finished work on the next 13th volume of his reference book "Medicinal Plants of Turkmenistan". The new book is timed to coincide with the Day of Healthcare Workers and the Medical Industry.
Copies of the book will be distributed to all participants in the meeting.
Previous volume Berdymukhamedov presented exactly a year ago and also timed to coincide with the holiday of medical workers.
Volume 11 of Medicinal Plants, published in July 2019, also ahead of Health Workers Day, which was then celebrated on July 21st. In the fall of 2019, the holiday of medical workers was postponed without explanation to October 10 .
The recipes for decoctions and teas described in the book are regularly recommended by doctors and state media for the treatment and prevention of various diseases. Earlier it was announced that harmala smoke , licorice root and noodles with pepper (unash), also described in the guide, should be used to prevent coronavirus.
