After a tenday absence President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov appeared in front of TV cameras in a broadcast of the staterun television.
The state information agency TDH reports that despite the annual leave, which started on 15 July, the head of the state is demonstrating strong commitment to spending his free time efficiently and productively. The President approved some construction projects in Ashgabatcity � a new city, which will be built in Akhal velayat.
This was Berdymukhammedov's first appearance in public after on 20 July Russianspeaking media outlets disseminated numerous reports about his alleged death.
Members of the government will be on holiday until 15 August.
