Baku: In 2024, Azerbaijan witnessed a substantial rise in bread production, with a total output reaching 1 million 196.8 thousand tons.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this marks an increase of 1,044 tons compared to the previous year's production figures.

In 2023, the country produced 1 million 195.8 tons of bread. The increase in production underscores the growing demand and capacity within Azerbaijan's bread industry. Additionally, the production of flour-based confectionery products also saw a significant rise, increasing by 7.6% from the previous year, and totaling 72,752 tons.
