Then the chairman of Turkmenneft reported to the head of state on the work being carried out at the newly discovered oil fields at the Uzynada and Demirgazyk goturdepe sites, and Shahym Abdrakhmanov showed the oil samples obtained there.
The head of state instructed to continue work to identify hydrocarbon reserves and signed the Decree “On the purchase of spare parts by the Türkmengaz State Concern” to ensure the uninterrupted operation of gas pumping units and gas turbine engines at wells, as well as a reliable supply of natural gas, TDH notes.
Deputy Prime Minister Annageldi Yazmyradov , who is in charge of the agro-industrial complex, traditionally reported on the ongoing cotton harvest “to the last box” and on the care of wheat crops. All previous years, the president was reported on the implementation of the cotton harvest plan in the first ten days of November. Hand labor is used to collect cotton residues. Also, the State Concern “Turkmenhimiya” held an international tender for the purchase of an annual supply of this raw material in accordance with the plan for 2023.
The basic raw material used at the country’s urea plants is urea-formaldehyde concentrate. Since its main element is methanol, the official suggested building a new production facility in conjunction with the Akhal plant for the production of gasoline from natural gas . Whether the president approved it is not reported.
Earlier it became known that on November 8, the US Navy also intercepted a ship carrying carbamide fertilizers from Iran to Yemen, which can be used to produce explosives. Judging by the published pictures, the fertilizers were produced in Turkmenistan at the Marykarbamid plant.
Deputy Prime Minister for Science and Education, Health and Sports Nurmukhammed Amannepesov reported on the creation of a public organization of doctors of Turkmenistan . The creation of the organization will improve the Turkmen healthcare system, improve the quality of medical services and help in training personnel, the TDH notes.
Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov reported on the progress of work on the development of international information activities of Turkmenistan. In particular, the diplomat suggested opening an International Information Center within the structure of the State Committee on Television . Programs , short documentaries and videos dedicated to Turkmenistan will be prepared there for broadcast on the air of foreign media .
It is proposed to place the Center in the International Broadcasting Center of the capital’s Olympic village. Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed that “independent neutral Turkmenistan should be adequately represented in the global information space.”
At a cabinet meeting in October, Rashid Meredov proposed creating a press group (Press Pool) from domestic media under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, intensifying interaction with the press attache of diplomatic missions accredited in Turkmenistan, and establishing contacts with leading regional and international television channels.
Director General of the Agency for Transport and Communications Mammetkhan Chakiev reported on the possibility of joining the Agreement of the Organization for Cooperation between Railways (OSJD) on container transportation in container trains in international traffic. This will help increase the volume of container traffic, create a competitive pricing policy and convenient logistics.
