On March 4, the Acting President of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov , held a meeting to discuss the situation in the economy, energy and other areas with members of the Cabinet of Ministers, the state information agency TDH reports .

Deputy Prime Minister Serdar Berdimuhamedov in charge of finance , who is in charge of finance, spoke about the successes in the economy that were achieved in January-February this year: about the growth in production, the increase in retail and foreign trade, and the overfulfillment of the state budget profitability plan.
Following the report, Berdimuhamedov Sr. instructed his son to constantly monitor the situation in the global economy and implement programs to digitalize the economy, organize the securities market, as well as privatize state facilities and transform them into joint-stock companies.

Deputy Prime Minister Shahym Abdrakhmanov , who oversees the oil and gas industry, spoke about the overfulfillment of plans for the extraction and processing of oil and gas. Abdrakhmanov presented a plan for the second stage of the development of the Galkynys (Galkynysh) gas field at the expense of Chinese investment.
Despite the positive report, the acting president was dissatisfied with the activities of the vice-premier. “Despite the necessary support provided by the state to the oil and gas complex, there is little positive dynamics in its work,” Berdimuhamedov said, adding that the state concerns Türkmengaz and Türkmennebit, as well as the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries , cannot consistently perform scheduled tasks .

Like previous members of the Cabinet, Deputy Prime Minister Charymyrat Purchekov , who oversees construction, industry and energy, presented a positive report on the overfulfillment of plans in the construction and industrial sector. The state concern "Türkmenhimiýa" ("Turkmenchemistry") fulfilled the plan for the production of products and the provision of services by 187%.
According to Purchekov, the Ashgabat khyakimlik also overfulfilled the plan for "work performed and services provided" by almost 19%.
The Presidential Executive Order ordered the Deputy Prime Minister to increase the volume of investments attracted to the construction and industrial sectors, as well as to put into operation various facilities provided for in the Investment Program for this year as soon as possible. Among such facilities are the construction of power transmission lines that will loop the country's energy system, as well as power lines Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed Deputy Prime Minister Chary Gylyzhdov in charge of trade to ensure an abundance of goods and products in the markets, as well as control their prices. Despite the positive report and overfulfillment of plans for a number of indicators, the President's Executive Office expressed dissatisfaction with the work of the Director General of the Transport and Communications Agency Mammetkhan Chakiev . In particular, work on the development of communications and the digital system, the reconstruction of railway lines, and the construction of new airports are progressing unsatisfactorily. Among the priorities of the Agency is the introduction of electronic services and an electronic document management system.

Deputy Prime Minister for Culture and Media Myakhrijemal Mammedova spoke about holding scientific conferences, creative meetings, exhibitions and promotional campaigns dedicated to the motto of 2022 - "The era of the people with Arkadag" and Berdimuhamedov's book "Abadançylygyn röwsen gadamlary" ("Bright steps towards prosperity "). Also, the state programs adopted by the upper house of parliament at the conference "Halk Maslakhaty - the national model of democracy" were propagated to the population.
The president instructed Mammedova to actively promote the country's successes and improve the quality of television broadcasts. Cultural institutions and the media should also explain to the population, especially the rural population, the benefits of using digital technologies.

Deputy Prime Minister Esenmyrat Orazgeldiyev, who is in charge of the agro-industrial complex, reported on the overfulfillment of plans for a number of indicators and presented Berdimuhamedov with a draft resolution on holding a tree planting campaign.
After listening to the report, the Acting Head of State said that the state invests huge funds in agriculture, purchases agricultural equipment, supplies farmers with seeds and fertilizers, and demanded that the domestic market be provided with domestic agricultural products in sufficient quantities. Orazgeldiev and other heads of ministries supervised by him were instructed to visit farmers' associations more often.

Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov was instructed to draw up and submit for consideration a list of planned international events with the participation of the newly elected President of Turkmenistan .

At the end of the meeting, the President's Executive Office made a speech in which he noted the successes in all sectors. It was emphasized that GDP growth remains at the level of 6.2%, the country is building facilities worth $37 billion, of which construction worth $18 billion is carried out by domestic companies.
Berdimuhamedov also awarded the title of "Ene mähri" to mothers of many children who gave birth to eight or more children. Local authorities were instructed to give them awards and new apartments as a gift in honor of International Women's Day.
