On March 3, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a weekly meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on the results of the work of vice-premiers for two months of this year, the state information agency TDH reports .
Traditionally, all officials presented positive reports on their work.
Deputy Prime Minister Khodjamyrat Geldimyradov , who oversees the economy and finances , was instructed to "monitor the current situation in the world", as well as strictly control the implementation of production plans by ministries and departments.
Deputy Prime Minister Ashyrguly Begliev , who is responsible for the oil and gas industry , was instructed to establish direct cooperation with foreign manufacturers in order to ensure uninterrupted imports of equipment, spare parts, chemicals and consumables to the country at competitive prices.
Deputy Prime Minister Baimyrat Annamammedov, who oversees construction, industry and energy, was ordered:
• to ensure uninterrupted operation of enterprises of the construction and industrial complex and to use chemical production at full capacity ;
• through the construction of new power plants to increase the volume of electricity exports ;
• more actively build new and modernize existing roads ;
• ensure timely construction of buildings and structures.
Deputy Prime Minister for Trade Batyr Atdaev was instructed to ensure a stable supply of markets and shops with food and consumer goods , preventing an unreasonable increase in prices for vegetables and other products this season .
Deputy Prime Minister for Science and Education, Health and Sports Nurmukhammed Amannepesov was instructed to "pay special attention" to protecting people's health.
To attract young people, including pupils and students, to a healthy lifestyle, as well as to improve their level of education the head of state instructed to organize sports events and intellectual competitions.
Deputy Prime Minister Annageldi Yazmyradov , who is in charge of the agro-industrial complex, has been entrusted with speeding up work on the creation of a land cadastre and the modernization of the water supply system in the country . Recall that on March 1, Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting on the topic of solving the country's water problems with the head of the Vozrozhdenie Group of Design and Construction Companies Igor Bukato . It was stated that Turkmenistan is ready to consider the specific proposals of the "Vozrozhdenie" on this issue.
In conclusion, the Chairman of the Mejlis, Gulshat Mammedova , reported that in honor of March 8, 285 mothers with many children will be given the keys to new apartments (housing, as well as the title of "Ene mähri" are given to women who have given birth to eight or more children).
