Caring for sugar beet plantations

Farmers of the Balkan velayat, harvesting rich harvests of agricultural products from year to year, make a worthy contribution to strengthening the food security of the country. Along with other crops, the region pays special attention to the cultivation of sugar beets.

This season, about 3,000 hectares of land were allocated for sugar beet in the velayat, including 1,600 hectares in Serdar etrap, 1,000 hectares in Bereket etrap, 200 hectares in Magtymguly etrap, 100 hectares in Etrek and Esenguly etraps.

Currently, in the fields of the region, the plantings of this crop are being cared for in accordance with the norms of agricultural technology. The farmers of the Serdar and Makhtumkuli etraps are especially successful in this matter. Thanks to good weather conditions, farmers continue their work without slowing down.
