“Caspian Agro” and “InterFood Azerbaijan-2023” international exhibitions opened in Baku

The 16th Azerbaijan international agricultural exhibition "Caspian Agro" and the 28th Azerbaijan international food industry exhibition "InterFood Azerbaijan-2023" have opened today in Baku Expo Center. This year's events have set a record for the number of national and regional stands. A total of 479 companies from 31 countries are taking part in the events, while 9 countries are represented by national stands. Regional groups include companies from Belarus, Georgia, Germany, Italy, Russian Federation, Sri Lanka, Netherlands, USA, debutant countries Tunisia and Czech Republic. The "Caspian Agro" exhibition includes booths and pavilions of 318 companies from 24 countries. In addition to Azerbaijan, the exhibition will feature companies from Austria, Great Britain, Germany, Georgia, Estonia, Israel, India, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, the United States, Turkey and the Czech Republic. The Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic is represented with a single stand. Innovative technologies in agriculture will be discussed during the three-day event. One of the main focus areas this year is 'green agriculture', which has become increasingly important recently and is reflected in the logo of the exhibition, where the word 'green' has been added. This theme is also on the agenda for the Agrarian Innovations Forum, which will be held during the exhibition. "InterFood Azerbaijan" involves 161 companies from 17 countries (Belarus, France, China, Slovakia, Slovenia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, etc). Note that micro and small enterprises engaged in food industry and agriculture will present their products and services at the exhibitions with the support of the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency of Azerbaijan.
