Central Election Commission of Turkmenistan is trained to conduct elections at a time when early voting began

The participants of the seminar got acquainted with the international experience of organizing elections and applying advanced innovative technologies during elections.

On February 28-March 1, a seminar on the conduct of elections was held in Ashgabat with the support of the OSCE Center . The event was attended by representatives of various ministries and state bodies of Turkmenistan, as well as political parties and public associations. Meanwhile, on March 2, early voting began for the presidential elections in Turkmenistan. In Ashgabat, polling stations were set up and biographies of presidential candidates were posted.
On this day, CIS foreign observers visited some polling stations in the capital, where they got acquainted with the work of election commissions, with the technical equipment of polling stations, methodological support of commissions, work with voter lists and observed the progress of early voting, the state information agency TDH reports .
2577 polling stations have been established in the country and 41 - abroad under the diplomatic missions of Turkmenistan.
