Ceremonies on occasion of Last Bell and the Day of Ashgabat took place

All comprehensive secondary schools of the country had events on occasion of the end of educational year. It was special and exciting day for more than 85 thousand graduates. It is remarkable that the day of Last Bell and the Day of Ashgabat, the centre of business, political, social and cultural life of the country, are observed on the same day. Two beautiful holidays, having united together, filled Turkmen capital with music, scent of flowers and joy.

Early in the morning, school graduates, personnel of educational sphere, best school students, winner of different intellectual contests and art competitions from all over the country laid the flowers to the Monument of the Independence.

After, all the schools had ceremonies dedicated to the graduates of 2016 � 2017 educational year. Numerous warm wishes were addressed to the children, their parents, teachers and mentors.

Tour around places of interests of Turkmen capital was organized for school graduates. Theyouth visited the Monument of Constitution of Turkmenistan, Arkadag, the Arch of Neutrality, the Museum of the State Cultural Centre. The programme of the tour included call of Ylham parking complex, Bagt Koshgy and Alem and Ashgabat cultural and entertainment centres.

Song and musical centre Ashgabat hosted large events on occasion of Last Bell and the Day of the city in the evening. The Ministries of Education and Culture as well as Ashgabat administration organized large celebration ceremonies there.

In the solemn atmosphere, most distinguishing students were awarded with the gifts on behalf of the Head of the State.

The event ended up with the concert of art masters. They sang heartfelt and touchy songs about Turkmen capital, school years, first love as well as dedications to 2017 Asian Games. The programme of the concert included performances of dance ensembles, children art and folk bands and young popular singers.

There were also celebration events on occasion of the Day of the city and Last Bell at the square in front of the State Circus, Ylham Park and the Monument My White Ashgabat of the capital.

The ceremonies, various cultural and public events honouring secondary school graduates were held in administrative centres of the velayats in all parts of the country.
