Chairman of Caucasus Muslims Office Urges Global Awareness on Religious Site Respect.

AGDAM: "We only ask you to tell the world what you saw, convey the truth so that these calamities do not happen to other people," Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazadeh, the chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office, stated after the congregational prayer held at the Agdam Juma Mosque with the participation of world religious leaders. According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Allahshukur Pashazadeh emphasized the historical significance of the mosque, highlighting the disrespect shown to the site when Armenians allegedly kept pigs there. This, he indicated, reflected a broader disregard for religious sanctity. He expressed gratitude that Azerbaijan has since intervened to restore respect to the site, underscoring the importance of conveying these truths to the international community to prevent similar occurrences in other regions.
