Being on a working trip to Turkmenistan within the development of inter-parliamentary relations Chairman of the Council of the National Assembly of the Republic of Byelorussia Michael Myasnikovich took part in the mass tree planting.
The afforestation action, which was given a start by the President of Turkmenistan also brought together in the southern part of Ashgabat at foothills of the Kopet Dagh members of the government, heads of committees of the parliament, ministries and departments, representatives of the diplomatic missions accredited to Turkmenistan and foreign visitors.
President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov expressed his gratitude to M.Myasnikovich for an active participation in today's action, a powerful contribution of the Belarus side to realization of grandiose projects, including the construction of a large ore-dressing and processing complex in Garlyk.
Having underlined that one of the basic government programs is the industrialization of the country, the Turkmen leader stated that the commissioning of this unique industrial project will be beneficial not only to Turkmenistan and neighbors in the region, but also to the whole world.
Having conveyed his kind wishes to his Belarus counterpart Alexander Lukashenko and through him to all people of Belarus, the President of Turkmenistan invited the present to the forthcoming opening ceremony of the Garlyk complex.
