Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty (People's Council) of Turkmenistan, national leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the Turkish embassy in Ashgabat.
He made an entry in the embassy's book of condolences, in which he expressed sympathy and support for the brotherly people who suffered from the earthquake that occurred in the southeast of Turkey and caused numerous casualties and large-scale destruction.
In a conversation with Turkish Ambassador Togan Oral, the head of the People's Council, on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, the Turkmen people and on his own behalf, expressed condolences to the head of the Turkish state Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the entire Turkish people.
According to him, among those who faced this disaster in Turkey, there are citizens of Turkmenistan. Stressing that the Turkmen state is a reliable support for each of its citizens, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said that if a problem arises, all Turkmen citizens will be provided with the necessary support through the relevant institutions.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Turkmenistan Togan Oral thanked the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan for the words of support to the President and people of Turkey.
