Baku: Chinese businessmen are preparing to make new investments in Azerbaijan, with negotiations reportedly nearing completion, according to Azerbaijan's Trade Representative in China, Teymur Nadiroghlu. Speaking to journalists, Nadiroghlu highlighted the role of trade houses in China as instrumental in promoting Azerbaijani products and attracting investments.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the trade house in Beijing is one of seven such establishments located across six Chinese cities. These trade houses are vital tools for showcasing Azerbaijani products and tourism potential. Nadiroghlu noted that they hold numerous tasting events throughout the year, drawing interest from Chinese businessmen who visit to acquaint themselves with Azerbaijani offerings. A significant objective of these trade houses is to attract investment to Azerbaijan.

Nadiroghlu also mentioned that Chinese partners have already invested in and are managing Azerbaijan's trade houses in Beijing and other cities. He pointed out that China's large companies are making significant efforts to expand sales channels for Azerbaijani products and attract further investments to Azerbaijan.

He further emphasized that a delegation of businessmen, drawn by these trade houses, visited Azerbaijan last year. These businessmen are now set to invest in the country, with negotiations on these new investments nearing completion.
