The British Embassy in Turkmenistan, as part of the events to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, invites you to the first climate and environmental festival in Ashgabat called “Let’s Save the Earth Together!”. The event is organized with the active participation of young environmental activists of Turkmenistan and will be held from 15:00 to 20:00 on Sunday, October 9 on the terrace of the Ak Altyn (Cactus) hotel.
The aim of the festival is to shed light on the most pressing climate issues threatening our planet and to inspire the community for climate change control and environmental action across Turkmenistan. Open to all ages, the festival will feature a host of fun activities including live performances, eco-friendly workshops for kids, a solar panels exhibit, quizzes and fun games, music and dance, guest speaker presentations, and a screening of the famous David Attenborough’s film “Life on Our Planet”.
These events are designed to help more people learn about the problems of ecology and climate change, to realize the personal contribution of each in the fight against them. It will be a great chance to have fun, meet new people and ideas, share own experience. Admission to the festival is free, but participants are asked to bring one used plastic bottle per person as an “entry fee”.
