Shusha: The closing ceremony of “Shusha – OIC Youth Capital” took place, marking a significant event in the cultural history of Azerbaijan. The event, reported by APA, highlighted the city’s role as a hub for youth engagement and cultural exchange among Islamic countries.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the ceremony featured speeches from prominent figures including Aydin Karimov, the Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in Shusha district, Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov, and President of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum, Taha Ayhan. Aydin Karimov emphasized the importance of the construction of Garabagh University, initiated by President Ilham Aliyev, as a testament to the state’s commitment to youth development.

Minister Farid Gayibov expressed the honor of hosting such an event in Shusha, known as Azerbaijan’s cultural capital. He conveyed his gratitude to the youth representatives from various Islamic countries for their active involvement and participation in the e

The ceremonial handing over of the symbolic key of the OIC Youth Capital to Moroccan officials marked the end of the official segment of the event. This gesture signifies the transfer of responsibilities, as the “OIC Youth Capital Forum” is scheduled to be held in Morocco next year.
