Vatican City: A meeting with the new Pope of Rome is planned, the Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office (CMO), Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazadeh, told journalists.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Pashazadeh shared that the Council of Muslim Elders will convene in the Vatican in the near future.
"A meeting with the Pope of Rome Robert Francis Prevost is also planned in the Vatican. I hope he will also visit Azerbaijan," Pashazadeh stated.
