Baku: "Although the religious leader of Armenia wanted to participate in the Summit of World Religious Leaders, we did not invite him," Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazadeh, the chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office, told APA. According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Sheikh-ul-Islam Pashazadeh clarified his stance on the participation of Garegin II, the Catholicos of all Armenians. He stated that there were indirect requests for Garegin II's participation. However, Pashazadeh set a condition for the invitation, requiring the recognition of Azerbaijan's borders and territorial integrity by Garegin II. As no response was received regarding this condition, the invitation was not extended.
