Conference on Expert-Criminalistics Activities of CIS Member States Held in Baku

Baku: An international scientific-practical conference focusing on expert-criminalistics activities of authorized bodies within the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) was successfully held in Baku. The event was organized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan in collaboration with the Office for Coordination of Fight against Organized Crime and Other Dangerous Types of Crimes in the Territories of the CIS Member-States.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the conference took place at the Police Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and was titled 'Current Issues of Expert-Criminalistics Activities of Authorized Bodies of CIS Member States.' The gathering saw participation from criminalistics and forensic examination experts from various CIS member states, including Russia, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan. Representatives from Azerbaijan's Police Academy, Criminalistics Department, Prosecutor General's Office, Ministry of Justice, and other related organizations were also present.

During the conference, attendees presented reports that highlighted the effectiveness of efforts in combating international crime and the search for criminals within CIS member states. Topics of discussion included expert-criminalistics activities in the investigation of crimes utilizing information technologies and directions for forensic expertise.

The event concluded with discussions on the topics presented, allowing participants to delve deeper into the subject matter and share insights.
